CareLoop — Terms of Use
Not medical advice — read this first
CareLoop is an organizer for your family's medications and appointments. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, or give medical advice, and must never be your reason to start, stop, or change any medication. Label information shown in the app is official FDA text presented verbatim; reminders fire on a best-effort basis and can be delayed or suppressed by your device. Always follow your doctor's and pharmacist's instructions, and call emergency services in an emergency.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to create a CareLoop account and accept these terms. Adults manage profiles for children and for family members in their care; profiles themselves are not accounts and grant no access to the app.
Your family, your responsibility
You control who joins your family via invite codes and what each entry's sharing is set to. Enter information you have the right to share. Adults manage profiles for children and for family members in their care.
CareLoop Pro (auto-renewing subscription)
Pro unlocks unlimited family member profiles. It is offered monthly and annually, and each plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers; when the trial ends the plan price is charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel anytime in your store's subscription settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no attempting to access other families' data, no automated scraping of our backend, no use that violates law. We may suspend access that threatens the service or other users.
Warranty & liability
CareLoop is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glippin Toys, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including missed reminders or data entry errors. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Additional terms for the Apple App Store
If you obtained CareLoop from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:
- Acknowledgement. These terms are an agreement between you and Glippin Toys, LLC only — not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Glippin Toys, LLC, not Apple, is solely responsible for CareLoop and its content.
- Scope of license. Your license to CareLoop is a non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service, except that the app may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
- Maintenance and support. Glippin Toys, LLC is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for CareLoop. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the app.
- Warranty. Glippin Toys, LLC is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If CareLoop fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are Glippin Toys, LLC's responsibility.
- Product claims. Glippin Toys, LLC, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to CareLoop or your possession or use of it, including (i) product liability claims, (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to an applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
- Intellectual property. In the event of any third-party claim that CareLoop or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Glippin Toys, LLC, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of the claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Developer contact. Questions, complaints, or claims about CareLoop go to Glippin Toys, LLC at support@glippintoys.com.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using CareLoop (for example, your wireless carrier's data agreement).
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
